The challenge
Lazuro is a premium event photography service based in Sydney — photo booths for weddings, birthdays, baby showers, corporate events, and travel experiences. The brand had a strong offline reputation but no digital presence that matched it.
Six gaps were limiting growth:
- No website. Wealthy clients compared Lazuro to global luxury brands and found no equivalent showcase.
- No online booking. Every event was coordinated through messaging — choosing a package, discussing backgrounds, invoicing the deposit, sending the contract, waiting for payment. That process took days and lost clients with urgent dates.
- Manual payments. The $200 deposit and balance were handled through manual invoices — payment delays and drop-offs between “agreed” and “paid.”
- Manual confirmations. Booking confirmation, contract, and cancellation policy were sent manually for every booking. Time-consuming, and things got missed.
- Delayed photo delivery. Guests received their photos through messengers or social media — undermining the brand’s core promise of “creating beautiful moments, instantly.”
- No services showcase. The brand existed only on social media, with no dedicated page for services, packages, and portfolio.

Premium site
For a premium audience
Soft pastels (beige, powder pink), gold typography, minimalism. Three packages (Signature $450, Premium $650, Full Day $950), a 2.35×2.25m photo booth with integrated soft lighting, and pages for every event type: weddings, birthdays, baby showers, corporate events, bachelorettes.

Eight steps, zero confusion
Date → Package → Time → Customise → Details → Review → Payment → Confirmation. Monthly calendar with blocked dates, background configurator (Black / Beige / Pink / Light Blue with preview cards), add-on options ($120 extra hour, $200+ custom background, $100+ floral décor), and soft upsell hints at the right moments.
Payments
Stripe + Apple Pay + Google Pay
The $200 deposit is charged directly on the site. Booking confirmed instantly after payment. A separate balance payment flow collects the remainder three days before the event via Stripe invoice.
Automations
Confirmations, contracts, PDFs — zero manual work
A branded Booking Confirmation email fires automatically on Stripe's payment_intent.succeeded webhook. Three PDFs attached: Terms & Conditions, Cancellation Policy, Client Agreement. Reply-To routes to Lazuro's working email — the client responds directly, context is never lost.
Photo delivery
QR → private gallery in minutes
A separate web app for instant photo delivery. Guests scan a QR at the event, leave their email, and receive a unique private gallery link. Photos stored in DigitalOcean Spaces, metadata in PostgreSQL. "Your Lazuro photos are ready" sends automatically once the operator uploads.
Legal foundation
Every client signs before paying
Dedicated pages for Terms & Conditions, Cancellation & Reschedule Policy, and Client Agreement. Required consent checkbox at the Review step before payment. Footer with mandatory text on setup fees, travel charges, deposit terms, and balance deadlines.
