Results

Status of an independent expert

Insurance companies and P&I clubs see a Lloyd's-standard firm, not a local assessor. This opens the door to major international contracts.

Emergency calls reach ALAIS fast

An insurance agent at the port sees the 24/7 number and emergency request form right on the first screen — no searching for contacts in a critical moment.

Port map = clear coverage

Clients immediately see that ALAIS operates in their port. Key deals no longer fall through at the "do you cover our region?" stage.

Lloyd's — the entry filter

Lloyd's standard displayed prominently is the mandatory filter for international insurers. Without it, they never reach the tender stage — with it, they make the shortlist.

Bilingual site for international clients

Russian for Kazakhstan and CIS, English for international insurers and law firms — ALAIS enters both selection systems.

The Challenge

ALAIS Surveys Ltd. is an independent marine and cargo surveyor based in Almaty: cargo damage assessment, loading supervision, container inspection, insurance claims. Operating in 13+ countries with key ports in Aktau, Atyrau, and Batumi.

Three specific gaps:

  • The site did not reflect 15+ years of experience and 1,000+ surveys — insurance companies saw a weak showcase instead of a serious partner.
  • There was no port coverage map — clients didn’t know whether ALAIS operated in their region.
  • There was no dedicated “emergency call” flow with 24/7 contact — in critical moments, agents went to a different surveyor.
